Tang Mingzhen,was born in 1950 in Shanghai.She graduated from Affiliated Middle School of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in oil painting from Jilin Academy of Art in 1983.

Member of 9th and 10th CPPCC in Jilin province and 7th Jilin Literature and Arts Association,Director of Chinese Artists Association,Director of Chinese Oil Painting Society,Executive Vice-President of Jilin Artists Association,Director of Central Academy of Painting of Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang,Vice-President of China Tongze Painting and Calligraphy Institute,Honorary President of Academy of Painting and Calligraphy of Min Hseng Weekly of People’s Daily,Honorary President of Jilin Chungshan Academy of Painting and Calligraphy of Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang,and National Class A Artist.

Her artwork have won more than 30 awards in provincial art exhibitions.Some works have been exhibited in the U.S.,Germany,Japan,South Korea,Singapore and Hong Kong and collected by collectors.National newspapers and journals like Fine Arts,Art Observation,Art of China,Art Trend,Art View,Art Market,Art Talents,Chinese Businessmen-Art Investment,Art Conditions,Art Around Asia Weekly,China Art Weekly,Chinese Painting and Calligraphy News,Guangming Daily,Collection Express and Investment Times have published his features,artwork and critiques.His biography and artwork are included in many art thesauruses and art websites.
In 1998,she went to Los Angeles,U.S.to hold an exhibition and was granted"honorary citizenship"by Montreal city.
In 2004,she was recruited by Chinese Artists Association as a judge of 10th National Art Exhibition(Sculpture Session).
In 2008,she was recruited by Propaganda Department of Jilin Provincial Party Committee as a judge of 9th Changbai Mountain Literary and Art Award.
In 2009,her oil painting Autumn of Changbai Mountain was collected by Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia Miegombyn Enkhbold during 5th Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo.
In October of 2013,she held 2013 Tang Mingzhen(Dongguan)Traditional Chinese Painting and Oil Painting Exhibition in Dongguan,Guangdong.The exhibition was co-hosted by Academy of Painting and Calligraphy of Min Hseng Weekly of People’s Daily and Dongguan Literature and Art Association.More than 40 works were exhibited.
In 2015,she held Ink And Colors Painting–Tang Mingzhen Chinese Painting Exhibition.The exhibition was co-hosted by Zhang Xiong Art,College of Art of Xiamen University,Xiamen Academy of Arts and Crafts of Fuzhou University,and College of Fine Arts of Jimei University.Totally 50 Chinese paintings were exhibited.
